After a few weeks of disruption it was nice to be greeted by a bucket load of sunshine for a change.
In a thrilling match Sidmouth started off strong with a couple of run-away tries down the hill however in the 2nd quarter the Dimonds leveled the score through some great team work using the width and scoring out wide.
At the turnaround and with all to play for Honiton’s scrum proved vital in securing ball and providing a great platform for further team points for the Dimonds. However it wasn’t long before some strong and elusive running from Sidmouth turned the tide once more leaving Honiton everything to do in the final quarter.
In true style the Dimonds did what they do best and kept their heads high and played with continued dominance eventually creating opportunities to level the score at the final whistle.
